Thrifted & Styled - Vintage Cane Chairs I thrifte

Thrifted & Styled - Vintage Cane Chairs

I thrifted these Vintage Cane Chairs and gave the a fresh update with new paint and upholstery! I have to admit that upholstery is not my favorite thing to do 😅 It’s really hard work, but the results always make it worth the effort. The caning isn’t perfect but no one has really noticed (or at least they haven’t told me 😉) and I think it just adds charm and a lived in quality. Nothing is perfect here…just loved and lived in! 🖤

I’m always so excited to share with my thrifting bestie Bryan @our.cozy.little.home for Thrifted Thursday!!! Be sure to head over to his account and see his fabulous find! 🫶

DIY Windproof Candle Holder 🌬️

Spring makes me want to spend every minute outside! I love a beautiful outdoor tablescape and alfresco dining, but with the strong winds we get, keeping taper candles lit can be such a challenge! 🫠 I know pillar candles in hurricanes are an option, but I just love the look of taper candles!

So this year I came up with a simple DIY solution and created these Windproof Taper Candle Holders using just a few basic supplies. I love how they turned out, and now I can enjoy my taper candles without worrying about the wind! ✨

Thrifted & Styled - Cast Iron Bird Bath I thrift

Thrifted & Styled - Cast Iron Bird Bath

I thrifted this cast iron bird bath about a year ago and it’s gotten so rusted and weathered that it was time for a refresh! After a quick cleaning and a coat of spray paint and primer, it’s good as new & ready for the birds to enjoy! We get lots of birds here in the front flower garden especially when the Peggy Martin Roses are blooming. How about those beauties!?! Sharing more about the Peggy Martins and the front flower garden in stories later today. I also shared my Google search results for this bird bath and you’ll never believe how much it’s selling for 😱

Thrifted & Styled - Mom & Baby Bunny Figurine 🐰

When I thrifted this Mam & Baby bunny figurine, I thought I was going to paint it. Once I styled it in the dining room, I really loved the natural color and decided not to 🤔 I think the natural wood tone finish works great with all of the other colors and textures in the dining room. What do you think? Would you paint it?
