If you love decorating with taper candles as much as I do, then you know how beautiful they look on a dining table. They instantly add height, warmth, and an elegant ornamental element to any space. However, as much as I love using taper candles in my tablescapes, it has almost been impossible to enjoy them outdoors with all of the wind we have here.

I have tried several options, including glass covers, but many of them felt too lightweight and could easily fall over. I wanted something sturdy, simple, and beautiful that would allow me to use my own candles outdoors without constantly relighting them. That is when I decided to create my own DIY Windproof Taper Candle Holder using a glass hurricane and a few inexpensive supplies.
