Ingredients for Candy Bark
- 12 oz Vanilla Almond Bark
- 12 oz Chocolate Almond Bark
- 10 oz Pastel-colored M&Ms
- 9 oz Cadbury Mini Eggs or Robin’s Eggs
- 1 cup Pretzel Sticks
- ½ cup Edible grass, cut into 1-2” pieces
Other Supplies
- Parchment paper
- Mixing Bowls
- Spoon for Mixing & Spreading
- Microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup
Step-By-Step Instructions for Easter Candy Bark
Step 1: Melt Chocolate Almond Bark
Start by melting the chocolate almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Since microwaves can vary, begin by heating in 30-second increments, stirring between each heating session, until smooth and melted chocolate is achieved.
Step 2: Spread Chocolate Almond Bark
Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly over a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Aim for about a ¼-inch even layer, roughly 8”x12” in size. Let it cool slightly for about 15 – 30 minutes before proceeding.

Step 3: Melt Vanilla Almond Bark
Next, repeat the process with the vanilla almond bark, melting it in the microwave using 30-second increments and stirring between each heating.
Step 4: Layer the Vanilla Almond Bark
Carefully pour the melted almond bark over the cooled chocolate layer, spreading gently to keep the layers distinct. Leave about a 1-inch chocolate border around the edges.

Step 5: Add the Pretzels
Break the pretzel sticks by hand and sprinkle them evenly over the vanilla layer.

Step 6: Add Easter Candy & Edible Grass
Evenly distribute the M&Ms, Cadbury Mini Eggs, and edible grass over the bark while it’s still warm to ensure they stick.

Step 7: Cool Completely
Allow the bark to cool completely for about four hours at room temperature.

Step 8: Break & Serve
Once fully set, break or cut the bark into pieces. I prefer breaking it by hand for a fun, organic shape while keeping the candy toppings whole. Serve and enjoy!

This easy treat is perfect for any Easter holiday gathering, spring celebrations, or even as a fun snack for a movie night or birthday party. It’s also a great way to make a quick and delicious Easter dessert recipe for the whole family!
