Step-by-Step Instructions for Lavender Mint Body Scrub
Step 1: Mix Coconut Oil and Epsom Salt
In a medium-sized bowl, combine 1 cup of coconut oil with ½ cup of eucalyptus and spearmint Epsom salt. Stir until the mixture is well blended. This will create the base of your salt scrub with just the right amount of texture for gentle exfoliation.

Step 2: Add Lavender Buds
Stir in 1 tablespoon of dried lavender buds. Not only do they add visual beauty to your scrub, but they also help release a lovely floral scent as the scrub is used.

Step 3: Add Essential Oils
Add your essential oilsālavender oil and eucalyptus oil are a calming and refreshing combination. Start with about 10 drops of each and increase to your preference. I used 15 drops of each for a balanced and spa-like scent.

Step 4: Fill the Jar
Spoon your finished scrub mixture into a clean 16 oz glass jar. Mason jars or decorative canisters with wood lids are perfect for this. Press the mixture down gently to remove air pockets and seal with the lid.

Step 5: Add Label and Ribbon
Print out your free 2ā square label sheet using Avery #22816 label paper and attach it to the jar. Add ribbon or twine for a special touch. Your gift is now ready to go!

Step 6: Gift or Enjoy
This makes a fantastic gift for friends, coworkers, or anyone who loves a little natural self-care. You can also keep one for yourself and enjoy a luxurious bath experience. This scrub looks great on my bathroom shelf and I think I’ll have to keep a jar of it year-round!

Tips for the Perfect Lavender Mint Body Scrub
- If your coconut oil is too hard, soften it slightly in the microwave for 10ā15 seconds before mixing.
- To keep things mess-free, mix the scrub in a bowl with high sides.
- You can substitute the eucalyptus and spearmint Epsom salt with unscented salt and increase the essential oil drops for a custom scent.
- Donāt overdo the oilātoo much can make the scrub greasy or cause it to separate.
- Always store the scrub in a cool, dry place. If giving as a gift, include a little spoon for scoopingāitās a cute and practical touch.
